Sudha’s music is supreme and she plays for her own intrinsic enjoyment, which consequently conjures up chiseled details of moving beauty, beyond comparison. She uses her voice as a vehicle for spiritual voyaging. She is a true disciple of Dr. M.L.V and has a pleasant musical presence. She is very right in feeling that music is divine and used for the deity, in dealing with human destiny, in its highest aspirations.

What ‘Bharat Ratna’, ‘Sangeetha Kalanidhi’
Dr.M.S.Subbulakshmi
used to say quite often in Tamil –(The gist of it
is translated into English) “I like Sudha very much
not only for her sincerity and dedication in her
chosen field of music but because she so beautifully
balances both family life and career. ‘Chamathu…
Romba Chamathu’ she would smilingly say.

Sudha’s beloved guru, The late ‘Sangeeta Kalanidhi’,
Dr.M.L.Vasanthakumari
had mentioned to many of her friends and admirers
that her disciple Sudha had a very bright career
ahead of her and that she had the Blessings of the
Almighty in plenty and the support of the audience
to progress in leaps and bounds.
