How are you?  I hope all is well at your end.  How was your tour abroad to Australia?  I am sure it must have been really great (I loved reading your entry for I get into it in the latter part of the email).  I haven't been to Australia but one day wish to go and see it

Recently, I got a message from my friend to check your website for he said that there is a surprise in store for me.   I have visited your website before and I must say that I love it SO much.  The whole site really gives a wonderful glimpse into your life and it is truly a pleasure to go through and see.  All of the pictures are so beautifully put together- I absolutely love the captions.  Some of my favorite pics are the ones with MLV amma.  So when my friend said this to me, I was a bit apprehensive and surprised.  I must be honest- I hadn't checked your website of late due to my busy study schedule and presentations but today I did.  I loved reading your latest post on your experiences in Australia and the US.  I am so glad to hear that your concert with Balamurali saar went so well

Then I had the chance to see the page called reflections that my friend was referring to...OH MY GOSH!...I have NO words Mrs. Ragunathan.  Thank you SO much for putting the picture that I emailed you in your website.  The minute I saw that, I was so shocked that I did a small prayer to Swami for blessing me to meet and be with such great people in my life.  It also made me very emotional for I hardly ever shed tears.  I feel so honored and privileged to be on that page Mrs. Ragunathan- to see such wonderful posts by your daughter, student, close friends, and youngest fan is truly something.  To share that special page/space with such great people in your life is something I will cherish forever and am ever so grateful for.  As I said earlier, what makes that picture ever so special to me is...Appa took that picture at our very own Ganapathi Koyil in Flushing, New York...the temple I grew up with my whole life.  I can't wait to show Paati, Appa, and Amma for I am sure they will be so thrilled to see it.

Another great thing I wanted to tell you was, my Public Speaking Class went off SO well.  The second presentation I gave was on Carnatic Music and the class along with the professor loved it.  I got an A on the first and second presentation.  I also burned a CD of yours for Dr. Blumberg...during the last class; she told me that she had listened to the CD 5 times already.  These are her own words, "I have no words about Mrs. Ragunathan's music.  She truly has a magical voice which is just amazing!".  I personally invited her to my arangetram and she said that she will be there supporting me.  After hearing you, she said that she wants to get more involved with Carnatic Music and start collecting CDs.  Nothing makes me more happy than sharing your music with others and in the case getting you a new fan.  She said that I was right- Mrs. Ragunathan is a very special person.  I promised her that I will tell you her words :)

Well once again Mrs. Ragunathan...thanks a BILLION!  I hope all are well at home.Take care and def. keep in touch...

The vintage favourite ‘Bantu Reethi kolu’ a quick crisp number, was catchy and captivating.
