After the appreciation and Awards that came Sudha’s way during the Music Season, the piece de resistance was the result of a survey conducted amongst music aficionados in Chennai - among 750 people spread over around 100 music sabhas
According to the survey conducted by IRC-Wide Vision Market Intelligence and Future Studies (between December 15, 2007 and January 1, 2008) Sudha was rated by 30 per cent as the best female singer while 21 per cent cast their vote for Bombay Jayashree.
The survey was conducted by the same Agency earlier for Anand Vikatan where Sudha again topped in rank – a true reflection of the minds of the rasikas.
Sudha thanks all her rasikas, well wishers and her audience who have made it to her concerts braving the weather, the crowd, keeping aside all other important commitments they may have had, and to have made themselves available to appreciate, enjoy, observe and give her valuable feedback on their experiences, and above all communicating to others their appreciation, as has been done during this survey.
